This eight-week study looks at Peter's first letter, a powerful message of encouragement for Christians who are facing persecution due to their faith. The letter was written to Christians who had been dispersed around Europe and Asia, and it speaks to the challenges they faced in a society that ridiculed and excluded them. Despite the difficulties, Peter urges them to hold fast to their faith, and his words are just as relevant today as they were when they first written.

Journey to Jerusalem is a six-week study for Lent that follows Jesus journey to Jerusalem and the cross, beginning with Peter's declaration of Jesus as the Son of God and Jesus predicting His death and ends just before Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem.

A four-week study on the Holy Spirit looks at the Person of the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit as the Presence of God, the Holy Spirit's role as Purifier and the Power of the Holy Spirit. The aim of this study is to remove some of the mystery that surrounds the Holy Spirit and to address the fear that we can sometimes have about the Holy Spirit that comes from a misunderstanding of how He works. 

The Bible is a book of revelation - it is how God reveals Himself to us. These opening chapters are important because they reveal to us the first things that God wants us to know about Him. Over the course of eight weeks, we will explore these chapters and discover what they reveal about God, ourselves, and our relationship with Him.

If the opening chapters of the Bible tell us how it all began, then the closing chapters tell us how the story ends: with a new beginning. In this four-week study, we will explore the closing chapters of the book of Revelation to give us a deeper understanding of where God's story is heading. We will make sense of the imagery and metaphors that John uses to present us with a glimpse of our eternal home: a new heaven and a new earth.

Lent is traditionally a season of fasting in the Christian church. Fasting is a practice that predates the New Testament, but does Jesus expect us to fast? In this five-week study, we will explore the reasons behind fasting, look at examples of fasting in the Bible, and discuss different ways that we can fast in these times as a way to draw closer to God and to focus on spiritual matters.
